"Lord, Save us from Your Followers" the movie: Though nine out of ten Americans claim a belief in
God, public expression of faith is as contentious as ever. Why is the Gospel of love dividing America? Join us
next Sunday, Aug. 24, for a viewing of "Lord, Save us from Your Followers." The energetic documentary
explores the collision of faith and culture in America. Bring your friends, whether they are devoted followers
of Jesus or skeptics, for a fun evening. We'll follow the movie with discussion and dinner.
Chapter One: As a community of faith, we believe that the message of Jesus is good news for everyone.
Our Chapter One initiatives will focus on ONE child (orphans in Romania), ONE village (Zambia community
sustainability project), ONE life (the homeless and oppressed in South Florida), and ONE world (caring for
God's amazing creation. More details coming over the next few months about how you can make a
difference for ONE.
Epic Invitation Cards are available for you to pass out and let others know about the awesome
community we share. If we each pass out 5 cards this week we can share with others the wonderful things
God is doing at Epic.
Computer Savy? Technically gifted? We are looking for a few more people that we can train to assist
with the the computer and sound needs for our Sunday gatherings. If you have any interested in
volunteering or even learning about what needs to be done, please email Karen@epic-remix.org. Thanks
